| Announcement of the start of the preliminary stage of the tender for independent power producers |

| JSC “Almalyk MMC” announces the start of the preliminary stage of the tender for independent power producers (investor-developers) for the project of construction of the Almalyk Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 50-60 MW. |
| This project is aimed to provide environmentally clean electric power for copper and zinc production at the mining and smelting plants of JSC “Almalyk MMC”, meaning reduction of emissions into the atmosphere and obtainment of “green certificate”.

| Under this project, the winning bidder will design, finance, operate and maintain a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of up to 60 MW in Almalyk, Tashkent region, for at least 25 years. |
| The winner of the tender is selected according to the tariff proposed by the participants for electric energy generated by the newly built solar photovoltaic plant.

| JSC “Almalyk MMC” will act as a guaranteed buyer of electric energy generated by the solar photovoltaic plant for at least 25 years at an agreed tariff. |
| For the construction of this facility JSC “Almalyk MMC” will provide its own territory of up to 300 hectares, located in the city of Almalyk near the industrial zone, for a fee. |
| As part of the project, the investor-developer will also have to build a power transmission line to the nearby substation of JSC “Almalyk MMC”. |
| To participate in the preliminary stage of the tender you must: |
| · submit an official letter of interest in participation in the tender.
· attach to this letter a brief description of the company and a reference list of implemented similar projects. · visit the proposed facility construction site. · submit a preliminary tariff for electricity sales (in order to determine the maximum tariff for the official tender). |
| All interested participants should visit the planned construction site and can request all the information they need. |
| At the next stage there will be announced a formal open international tender with the provision of tender documentation for the preparation of investment proposals. Accordingly, at this stage the participants should clarify and submit their tariff as final. |
